Story Time

Miss Pam welcomes you to Story Time where children laugh, learn, share, and discover library materials! Each session features books, music and movement, and imaginative play to create an interactive experience for all. Our sessions are designed to support early literacy skills, which are the building blocks to reading…and so much more!

Registration is required and is limited to one session per week, per child. Please feel free to contact Miss Pam @ 973-728-2823 or email zacher@wmtl.org with any questions!

Parents and guardians must stay at the library with their children. Children must be the appropriate age for the start of the program.

Music & Rhyme Time

Ages: 0-23 months

This is our early literacy program for infants and toddlers aged 0-23 months. Join Miss Pam for songs, rhymes, and simple stories as she shares early literacy tips from Every Child Ready to Read!  This is an excellent way to introduce your little ones to the sights and sounds of their world, and to meet other babies! Free play concludes our program.

Toddler Time

Ages: 2 – 3 years

Toddler Time features songs, stories, rhymes and finger plays, and tons of fun! Let’s sing and dance in our story time designed especially for our toddlers! A craft activity concludes our program.

Preschool Stories

Ages: 3 – 5 years

Children ready for an independent story time experience will enjoy our Preschool Stories class! In addition to our story, we’ll do a little singing, a little rhyming, a little spelling, and some counting to get us ready for kindergarten – and most of all, we’ll always have fun! A craft activity concludes our program.
