Book Clubs
Book clubs are a great place to meet friends, talk about books, and have fun! Join by yourself or with a friend! The clubs meet once a month on Wednesdays.
Brown Bag Book Club – for beginning readers in K-2 who are working on their reading skills!
For our Brown Bag Book Club the book is always reader’s choice so that each child can read a book that matches with their ability. This creative program is part show-and-tell, and part book talk making reading a fun experience for beginning readers!
The first step is to register, then you need to stop by the Library to pick up the supplies – a brown paper bag with questions in it. Everyone answers the same questions! The best part is, you get to choose something to put in your bag that relates to the story – that’s where the show-and-tell comes in!
Brown Bag Book Club will meet Thursday, December 5 @ 4:15 p.m.
Page Turner’s Book Club – for kids in 3rd & 4th grades who are reading independently and want to have fun and talk about books.
Miss Pam is ready to talk books so read, read, read! There will also be time to complete a craft.
Page Turner’s Book Club will meet Thursday, December 12 @ 4:15 p.m.
This month’s pick: A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket
Word Warriors Book Club – for kids in 5th & 6th grades
Each month we’ll read one book and then get together and chat about it! There will also be time to have snacks and recommend books that we’ve loved reading!
