Kid’s Clubs

Book Clubs

Book clubs are a great place to meet friends, talk about books, and have fun! Join by yourself or with a friend! The clubs meet once a month, almost always on Monday afternoon. Book clubs now take place in-person or via Zoom! If you would like to participate from home, just check the box on the registration form and we will send you a link to the Zoom meeting.

Brown Bag Book Club – for beginning readers in K-2 who are working on their reading skills! For our Brown Bag Book Club the book is always reader’s choice so that each child can read a book that matches with their ability. This creative program is part show-and-tell, and part book talk making reading a fun experience for beginning readers!

The first step is to register, then you need to stop by the Library to pick up the supplies – a brown paper bag with questions in it. Everyone answers the same questions! The best part is, you get to choose something to put in your bag that relates to the story – that’s where the show-and-tell comes in!
