Chapters is our book discussion group for adults. Chapters had its first meeting in the fall of 1995. Many years and many titles later, the WMTL Chapters group is still reading, meeting, and talking!
Our book group is an informal one, facilitated by a librarian whose role is to encourage discussion and to ensure that everyone who wishes to express themselves has a chance to do so. The book often serves as a springboard to discussions of individual life experiences, history, or current events related to the story. Copies of the selected title are available for checkout each month. You must register at www.wmtl.org/events to receive a copy of the book.
Chapters is an in-person and virtual program. Zoom links are sent to those unable to attend in-person. Chapters has two sessions each month. We usually meet on the third Monday at 11:00 AM and the third Wednesday at 6:00 PM, though this is subject to change. Meetings will always take place in the Library Conference Room on the 2nd floor of the library.
To join Chapters, please call 973-728-2822, email wmtl@wmtl.org, or stop at the Adult/Teen Services desk.
