Teens – Help Us Decorate the Wall!

Here’s an activity for all teens to participate in ALL SUMMER LONG!

Please help us! We want to liven up this wall in the West Milford Township Library Young Adult section with a mural made out of summer photos…photos that are taken by you!

Here’s how to participate: Whenever you’re outside, take a picture with your mobile phone, digital camera or tablet of something that makes you think “summer”. It can be a single object, like a flower, an insect, animal, plant, a building, a body of water, or just part of the scenery…whatever symbolizes summer to you. (But…please don’t send photos of yourself or other people. For privacy and safety, we do not display personally-identifying information at the West Milford Township Library.)

Alternatively, if you don’t want to take a picture, you can: find one you like on the internet or use your artistic talents to draw or paint one!

Send us your picture—any size is fine–and we will display it together will all of the other summer pictures we receive…and fill that empty wall!

Here’s what to do:
To send a photo or digital image:
Please send your photo or image as an attachment to schear@wmtl.org. Please make sure the format is either .jpg, .png, or .pdf, or, you can paste your image into a Microsoft Word or PowerPoint document and attach the document to the email. (Please reach out by email to schear@wmtl.org if you need help with this!)

To send a hand-drawn or painted image:
You can drop off your picture in person at the library, or if you prefer you can send by regular postal mail to –
