Tiny Art Show for Adults and Teens
July 6 - August 31
Welcome to WMTL’s Unearth a Story Tiny Art Show for adults and teens (grades 6-12)! This summer explore and experiment with your inner artist and create a mini masterpiece! Do you want your artwork showcased this summer? Then you don’t want to miss out on this event! Stop by our Reference Desk on the 1st floor of the library and pick up a painting kit to get started. Each kit will include a mini canvas, an acrylic paint set, and a participation form for our Tiny Art Show! Once you finish your masterpiece, bring it back with your completed participation form to have it displayed in the library!

Important Dates:
July 6th – July 31st: Submit tiny artwork & participation forms (must include form to participate)
August 4th – 31st: Artwork will be displayed at the library on the 1st floor
September 12th: Last date to pick-up and take home your tiny artwork from the Unearth a Story Tiny Art Show

Full Rules & Guidelines:
- The theme for this Tiny Art Show is Unearth a Story, inspired by our 2026 Summer Reading Club!
- All submissions must be completed on the mini canvas (4″ x 4″). Feel free to use any additional mediums, art supplies, or recycled materials outside of what is provided in our pre-made kits.
- All artwork must be your own, previously unpublished, and free of copyright restrictions. Furthermore, all artwork must be family-friendly. West Milford Township Library reserves the right to omit any entries it feels are not appropriate for public viewing.
- Participation Forms must be handed in with the accompanied artwork. One (1) entry per person.
All artwork must be handed in with their printed participation forms during our library hours to the Reference/Adult & Teen Services Desk on the 1st floor of the library. The last day for submission is July 31st. No late submissions will be eligible.
By entering the Tiny Art Show, you are giving the West Milford Township Library permission to display your artwork in the library, take pictures of your creation, and share them online.

Picking Up Your Creations:
All artwork must be picked up by September 12th. Any remaining paintings left behind at the library past this date will be disposed of.
