Welcome to WMTL’s first Tiny Art Show for tweens and teens! This summer explore and experiment with your inner artist and create a mini masterpiece! Do you want your artwork showcased this summer? Then you don’t want to miss out on this event! Stop by the reference desk on the first floor of the library to grab a painting kit to get started. Each kit will include a mini canvas, an acrylic paint set, and a participation form for the Tiny Art Show! Once you complete your masterpiece, bring it back with your filled out participation form to have it displayed in the young adult section of the library!

Important Dates:

July 1st – 29th: Submit tiny artwork & participation forms (must include form to participate)

August 1st – 31st: Artwork will be displayed in the 1st floor Young Adult section of the library

September 15th: Last date to pickup tiny artwork from the Tiny Art Show

Full Rules & Guidelines:

• All submissions must be completed on the mini canvas (4″ x 4″). Feel free to use any additional mediums or art supplies or recycled materials outside of the provided supplies.

• All artwork must be your own, previously unpublished, and free of copyright restrictions. Furthermore, all artwork must be family friendly. West Milford Township Library reserves the right to omit any entries it feels are not appropriate for public viewing.

• Participation Forms must be accompanied with the artwork. One (1) per entry per person

All artwork must be handed in with their printed participation forms during normal library business hours to the reference desk/adult services on the first floor of the library. The last day for submission is by July 29th, 2024. No late submissions will be eligible.

By entering the Tiny Art Show, you are giving the West Milford Township Library permission to display your artwork in the library, take pictures of your creation and share them online.

Picking Up Your Creations: 

All artwork must be picked up by September 15th, 2024 (the latest). Any remaining paintings left behind at the library past this date, will be disposed of.
