STEAM Craft: Food Experiment: Oxidation – Thursday, August 22 @ 4:00 p.m.

This program is for kids aged 10-12. We will discuss how oxygen reacts to the chemicals inside fruits and causes it to turn brown through a process called oxidation. Kids will have a chance to test the science with the real-life application of making fruit-kabobs to take home!

This program will use child-safe knives, wooden skewers, and foods that may contain common food allergens.
