Welcome to WMTL’s first Seniors Tiny Art Show! This fall season explore and experiment with your inner artist and create a mini masterpiece! Do you want your artwork showcased at West Milford Township Library? Then you don’t want to miss out on this event! Stop by the Reference/Teen/Adult services desk on the first floor of the library to grab a painting kit to get started. Each kit will include a mini canvas, an acrylic paint set, and a participation form for the Seniors Tiny Art Show! Once you complete your masterpiece, bring it back with your filled out participation form to have it displayed in the library!

Important Dates:

October 1st – 26th: Submit tiny artwork & participation forms (must include form to participate)

October 27th –  November 2nd: Artwork will be displayed in the library

November 4th – 18th: Artwork can be picked up at the Reference/Teen/Adult Services desk

Full Rules & Guidelines:

• Eligible participants must be 65 years or older in order to participate.
• All submissions must be completed on the mini canvas (4″ x 4″). Feel free to use any additional mediums or art supplies or recycled materials outside of the provided supplies.
• All artwork must be your own, previously unpublished, and free of copyright restrictions. Furthermore, all artwork must be family friendly. West Milford Township Library reserves the right to omit any entries it feels are not appropriate for public viewing.
• Participation Forms must be accompanied with the artwork. One (1) per entry per person.

All artwork must be handed in with their printed participation forms during normal library business hours to the Reference/Teen/Adult Services Desk on the first floor of the library. The last day for submission is by October 26th, 2024. No late submissions will be eligible to participate.

By entering the Seniors Tiny Art Show, you are giving the West Milford Township Library permission to display your artwork in the library, take pictures of your creation and share them online.

Picking Up Your Creations: 

All artwork must be picked up between November 4th – November 18th, 2024. Any remaining paintings left behind at the library past November 18th, will be disposed of.
