A historical drama based on American journalism in the 1950s!
Inspired by the true story of CBS reporter, Edward R. Murrow (David Strathairn), and his producer Fred W. Friendly (George Clooney), who take a stand against Senator Joseph McCarthy.
This film received several awards and nominations between 2005-2006. Most notably, was nominated six times at the Academy Awards in 2006 for the following awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Art Direction.
