The May book discussion title is The Heiress by Rachel Hawkins, a novel about the adopted son of a notorious heiress who rejects his inheritance and the family estate, Ashby House, at the time of his mother’s death. But ten years later when his uncle dies, he and his wife are pulled back into the family fold at Ashby House where they come to realize that an inheritance can entail far more than what’s written in a will–and that the bonds of family stretch far beyond the grave.
