Come join us for a lively discussion of The Dutch House by Ann Patchett, on Monday, September 16th at 11:00 am or Wednesday, September 18th at 6:00 pm.
Set over the course of five decades, The Dutch House is the story of two siblings who cannot overcome their past. After their father’s death, Danny and Maeve are exiled from their home, the lavish Dutch House estate, by their stepmother. Thrown back into the poverty their parents escaped, an unshakable bond forms between the brother and sister, which is finally tested when they’re forced to confront the people who left them behind.
We’ll meet in the Library Conference Room on the 2nd floor, but if you are unable to attend in person consider joining us on Zoom. Shortly before we’ll send out links to both sessions.
Register via the Events Calendar, or below so we can reserve you a book and send you the Zoom links.
