Friends of the Library Book Sale

on Tue, 04/15/2014 - 6:27pm

Our Friends of the Library spring book sale is the main source of funding for the WMTL Friends of the Library organization. The proceeds from the book sale benefit WMTL as the Friends sponsor the Monday night adult summer programs and other programs throughout the year. In addition, the Friends made donations of a book drop, the tent, and the display case to the library to name just a few contributions they have made over the years.

You are cordially invited to browse and buy books, CD’s, DVD’s and more at the Presbyterian Church Parish House, 1452 Union Valley Road on these dates:

Wednesday, April 30 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, May 1 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Friday, May 2 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 3 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Please contact the Circulation Desk at 973-728-2820 if you are interested in volunteering or making a donation. The Friends welcome your help setting up, selling or cleaning up. All ages are encouraged to lend a hand.

Our Friends organization can only be sustained with your support. Please consider joining today. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with your friends, your library and your community.

The Seed Library @ WMTL

The Seed Library will be available in the lobby of the Library beginning March 27. The seeds you borrow from the Seed Library @ WMTL are free and yet they are priceless. We hope that this is a learning experience for you and that this program enhances your joy of gardening. As you grow as a gardener and find success in your garden, please consider bringing some seeds back to share the fruits of your labors with the Seed Library community.

The Seed Library is part of a 4-H project of Murad Yassin of the West Milford VelveTEENS 4 H Club. Please contact Debbie Maynard at maynard@wmtl.org for more information.
