Miss Theresa and Miss Lauren welcome you to Story Time where children laugh, learn, share and discover library materials! Each 30-minute session is designed to build early literacy skills in babies and kids through age 5.
In-person registration takes place in the Children’s Room on Monday, September 21 at 6:00 p.m. Phone registration begins Wednesday, September 23. Registration is limited to one session per week, per child. Parents and guardians must stay with their children. Children must be the appropriate age on the date of registration.
Story Time begins Tuesday, September 29 and ends Friday, December 11. The dates that each storytime will be held are listed for each age group. Miss Lauren leads the way with songs, stories, puppets and free play during an energetic storytime designed especially for the little ones! This program is perfect for babies, pre-walkers and those toddlers who are not yet ready for Toddler Time. Lap Tots will meet on the following Fridays: October 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; November 13 and 20; and December 4 and 11.

Ages: 2 & 3
Finger plays, songs and simple stories are the stars of this light-hearted storytime! Miss Lauren welcomes children who are ready for more structure than our Lap Tots program. A coloring activity is included. Toddler Time will meet on the following Tuedays: September 29; October 6, 13, 20, 27; November 10 and 17; and December 1 and 8.

Ages: 3 ½ - 5
Miss Theresa introduces longer stories to the pre-school child who is becoming more independent but still enjoys finge plays, songs and poems. A craft activity is included. Pre-school Stories will meet on the following Tuedays: September 29; October 6, 13, 20, 27; November 10 and 17; and December 1 and 8.
