R.U.F.F. - Therapy Dog Reading Program Returns!

The Library is pleased to announce the return of R.U.F.F. (Reading Uniquely for Fundamentals), our therapy dog reading program. Children in kindergarten and above gain confidence reading aloud to the perfect listener – our volunteer therapy dogs! The program will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7 – 8 p.m. beginning April 10; registration is required. Each dog is certified by The Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. Spring Story Time Registration

Story Time registration begins Saturday, March 23 and takes place in person @ the Children's Services desk. Phone registration begins Monday, March 25. The WMTL Tween Scene, featuring the Tween Scene Blog, is an interactive, virtual space created here at WMTL for kids between the ages of 9-14. It is the place to find out about books, movies, magazines and so much more! It will also feature info that tweens may find cool like popular websites and Library programs. Don't forget, a blog is an interactive tool, so feel free to comment on the posts and let us know what you think!
