Be a Friend!

An informational session for all Friends of the West Milford Township Library will be held at the library, 1470 Union Valley Road, on Wednesday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. Anyone interested in learning about the Friends and its mission to support WMTL is encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served.

With the new library now open and seeking to expand its programs and services, this is the perfect time for residents who want to play an active role in helping to shape library programs and activities.

The Friends would like to expand its contributions to the library. To do this, people with energy and creativity are needed. “We’re not looking to rope people into anything. We just want to tap into peoples’ creative ideas and together explore what we can do to make our library even more responsive to the community,” Friends president Martha Tappan said.

Anyone interested in the Friends who cannot attend the September 27 meeting may call Ms. Tappan at 973-697-6835 for more information.
