March Book Discussion

Join Chapters, WMTL’s book discussion group for adults, on Wednesday, March 15, 11:00-11:45 a.m. or Thursday, March 16, 7:00-7:45 p.m. In Inside the O’Briens, author and neuroscientist Lisa Genova introduces readers to Joe O’Brien, a Boston police officer and patriarch of the O’Brien family. At 43, and with over 20 years on the job, life is good – until Joe receives a devastating medical diagnosis. Ms. Genova tells a powerful story of a family in crisis, as well as their collective courage in challenging what the future may hold by living a life of hope in the here and now.
